Important dates to remember:
- May 29: No school/ Memorial Day
- June 1: Book Swap
- June 1: Son Plus One Fun Night! Canceled
- June 2: Last Day of School (noon dismissal)
- August 2-3: Kindergarten Roundup (must have appointment)
News for You:
- New Kindergarteners: If you have a child of kindergarten age, please call the office to schedule a roundup appointment on August 2 or August 3. Thank you!
- Next year's teacher letter/supply lists: Your child's placement (1st-4th grade) and each grade level's supply lists will be mailed home the week after school is out.
- IRIPs: Students' Individual Reading Improvement Plans will be mailed out on Friday, June 2, if your child qualifies for one. Please sign and return it to the school. Thank you!
- Summer Reading/Math Program: Students who qualify for Title I or are not at grade level will receive a summer reading or math program. Parents/guardians can pick up their packets on Thursday, June 1, in Mrs. Schab's room. Otherwise, they will be sent home with the child on Friday. Thanks!
- Book Swap: We have enough books to have another book swap! Have your child bring in a used book to swap with a different book on Thursday, June 1. Thanks!
- Lost and Found: All remaining lost and found clothing will be donated to our WIN room or donated to a second-hand thrift store after June 2nd. Thanks!
- PTO: The PTO (parent-teacher organization) is looking for new parent recruits who want to be a part of a great group to enhance the school experience for all students! Please get in touch with Mr. Katona if you're interested in joining! Our next meeting will be next school year!
- Water Bottles: Please remember to have your child bring a water bottle to school. Especially on warmer days. Thank you!
- Popcorn Fridays: Thank you for donating to our Popcorn Friday Fund! The students enjoyed having popcorn, and we look forward to having it again next year!

Elijah Musselman
Elijah has made some awesome growth this year! He can be very helpful and loving. He is working very hard on using his words and keeping his hands to himself! Way to go, Elijah!!
Cooper Selzer
Cooper loves to help others in the classroom. He is always respectful and gets along with everyone. Not to mention, he has a smile that lights up the room! You’re awesome, Cooper!
Connor Ressler
Connor knows all of his sight words! Good job Connor, Connor is very helpful to everyone. He is a great Ranger! Way to go, Connor!!
Owen Dagen
Owen has really shined this school year! He is always willing to be kind to all of our friends in class. I can always count on Owen to be a helpful friend! Way to go, Owen, you are an amazing Ranger!
Jaycie Jones
Jaycie has been working hard all year to be a great listener and friend in our class. She is always kind to friends and is willing to help anyone! Her positive attitude is contagious.
Jolie Emery
Jolie is a very sweet girl! She is a hard worker and is always willing to help out others in and out of the classroom. She is an amazing role model and always tries her best. Keep up the great work, Jolie!
Henry Deruiter
Henry comes to school every day with a positive attitude, ready to learn! He's a role model for putting forth his best effort each day. Henry is always kind, creative, and thoughtful. Great job, Henry!
Jazzlynn Snyder
Jazzy is such a sweet girl. She is a great role model for her peers at following classroom rules and expectations. She is always kind and is willing to help her teacher and peers. She takes her time and always tries her best when doing her work. Way to go, Jazzy!!
Koby Carstens
Koby brings sunshine to school with him everyday! He understands the importance of working hard, believing in yourself, and follows the Ranger way! Great work this year, Koby!
Joy Wright
Joy is such a great example of hard work paying off. Joy has overcome so many obstacles and has grown beyond measure. She is always so happy, helpful, and cares for those around her. Watch out, third grade here comes a rock star!
Dorian Tompkins
Dorian has adjusted well to his new school here at Manton Elementary. He always gives his best effort and is friendly and polite toward all people. Way to show Ranger Pride! We are so glad to have you with us, Dorian!
Kayliana Sandelius
Kayliana is always very kind and helpful to her peers, as well as her teacher. She always has a good attitude and is enthusiastic to learn. Great job, Kayliana!!!
Harmony Roby
Harmony has worked hard this year to learn 4th grade skills. She cares for friends who are having a hard time and is always willing to help with whatever they need. Harmony is also an incredible writer and artist.
James Gattie
James has conquered all of his 4th grade goals and has become a good friend with a positive attitude, calm behavior, and kind actions.
