Thank you for joining the Ackerman Center for 1969 minutes of giving April 19-20! Thanks to you, we raised $47,212 that will be used to support our students, who carry our mission of “Teaching the Past, Changing the Future” with them as educators, professionals, and leaders in America and around the world.

The Ackerman Center for Holocaust Studies at The University of Texas at Dallas bestowed the 2023 Edward M. Ackerman Leadership Award to Dr. Burton C. Einspruch.

This annual event featured a performance by our University Choir, a special interactive art experience by LabSynthe, as well as traditional readings by faculty, staff, students, and community members of poetry, prose, and personal testimony in a variety of languages.

Additionally, our faculty participated at commemorative events in the community at Congregations Beth Israel, Shearith Israel, and Nishmat Am.
