2022 - 2023 ILA Theme: Assessment-Capable Visible Learning
Imagine students who describe their learning in these terms: “I know where I’m going, I have the tools I need for the journey, and I monitor my own progress.” Now imagine the extraordinary difference this type of ownership makes in their progress over the course of a school year.
Assessment-capable visible learners are students who own their learning, strive for challenge, and understand where they are on their learning journey. Our focus this year is to develop assessment-capable coaches, deans, teachers, and students through ongoing professional learning this year.
