Shifting to Canvas: A Weekly Update

The itslearning export tool will migrate active course content. Here is the content that will migrate:

• Folders
• Files
• Pages
• Notes
• Assignment prompts

The migration process will occur in June. Continue to check the newsletter for updates.

To see all courses in which you are a participant, select Courses-All Courses from the global navigation menu.

All instructional staff must complete two additional required sessions either during or after their duty day. Instructional staff may elect to complete additional choice modules outside of the duty day. Educational support professionals may also complete choice sessions outside of the duty day.

Register for required and choice sessions via the Hector links found in the HCPS Canvas Professional Learning course.

Access Canvas via harford.instructure.com (consider bookmarking for off network access). The Professional Development content is in the HCPS Canvas PL course in Canvas.

Take a moment to ensure that your correct first and last name is displayed in Canvas. If there are discrepancies with the name that is displayed, please complete this Form.

To view your display name in Canvas, click on your profile->settings, and locate display name.

As staff work through required and optional modules in Canvas, virtual office hours will be available Monday through Thursday afternoons. Access the full schedule.
