Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week (Oct 23-31) is a time where our community comes together to show our support for a drug-free and bully-free community. We have been raising our awareness during counseling about healthy choices, bullying, and drugs. The Cowles Community may show their support by wearing red on October 25, 2019. Students will receive red ribbons on this day as well. In addition, here is a link to red ribbon week ideas you can complete with your family. http://redribbon.org/activities/Parents/
Event Information

Trunk or Treat!

When is Trunk or Treat?

  • Friday, October 25th at 6:00 p.m. in the Cowles Parking Lot

What is Trunk or Treat?

  • Trunk or Treat is an event at Cowles Montessori School that is intended to bring staff, students, families, and the community together and to provide a safe way for students to Trick or Treat
  • Staff members, parents, and community members will set up decorated car trunks and will pass out treats in the Cowles parking lot from 6-8 p.m.
How can my child(ren) participate?
  • Your child(ren) can wear costumes and go from trunk to trunk to trick or treat. Don't forget to bring something to carry all the treats!
  • If you and your child(ren) wish to decorate your car trunk and hand out treats, park in the Cowles parking lot by 5:30 p.m. and be ready for Trunk or Treaters by 6:00 p.m.
Can other children that are with me participate?
  • Yes, your children and their friends are welcome
  • All children must remain with an adult at all times

What else should I know about this event?

  • During Trunk or Treat, there will be food and drinks for sale in the cafeteria for everyone. All proceeds will support the 6th Grade YCamp trip and other field trips
Will the event take place if it is raining?
  • If it is raining during the event, we will move the event inside the Cowles Montessori School building
  • Pizza and drinks will still be on sale in the cafeteria

A Note to the Parents of Maria Montessori Musical Participants:

You have been emailed the following materials to help your student attend the correct rehearsal and practice songs, lyrics, and lines at home:

3. Script

4. Mp4 files of all six songs
