Safety Upgrades & Vigilance at JES
This summer our administration assessed our current state of security and safety procedures and will be implementing the following new features:
- SafeSchool ID This kiosk, located in the locked vestibule, serves a multitude of purposes, but the foremost is to have every individual entering the school building scan a state issued ID, clear a background check, and be photographed before entering the building.
- RAVE Buttons for All Staff All staff members will have access to and training on a new app that, in the event of an emergency, can immediately notify local authorities.
- School Resource Officer Jones Police Department will continue to provide an officer to serve our school sites throughout the day.
