Registration is now open for 2023-24 Scott Elementary Science Fair! Last year was a HUGE success with Scott Elementary taking two of the top spots at the district finals!

We can't wait to see what our kids bring forward this year.

Remember, all students grade K-5 are welcome to participate. Grades K-2 will be competing in one category and grades 3-5 will be in another.

Below is the link for registration. The registration deadline is November 3. Our campus Science Fair will be January 25th.

We absolutely love having parents on our campus as much as possible! I have attached our Volunteer Sign up Google Sheet below. There are 3 ways you can regularly volunteer:

• Morning Car Duty Drop-off
• Lunch Help
• Instructional prep/Grade level volunteers

Please add your name to the sheet where you can volunteer! Your child will love seeing you on campus! If you have any questions please reach out to Dr. Bailey at baileym@rcisd.org!

Each month a group of amazing teachers creates a bulletin board to highlight a different culture. The cultures represent different students on our campus. Here is the September Diversity board!

Students will have the opportunity to earn SHINE slips again this year! When they earn them the student will go on a bingo board. When that BINGO has 15 in a row those students will earn a prize and the BINGO board will start over. So - the more SHINE slips you earn the better your chances!

Families! Help our school win the Great Grant Giveback Contest. Each campus is asking for donations to the Royse City ISD Education Foundation. All campuses will directly receive 50% of the funds raised and the winning campus will receive 75%! Other proceeds will go to the Education Foundation to fund future teacher grants and student/staff appreciation programs. The Education Foundation has granted more than $1.5 Million back to Royse City ISD Schools since its inception in 2009. Click this link to make your donation count towards our school! With the first home varsity football game of the season this Friday, we are asking for your assistance in helping us remind students and parents of the Athletic Event Policy in relation to student IDs and parent/guardian attendance.

The message below went out via text and email to all PreK-12th Guardians as well as all secondary student emails.

Reminder ALL HS & MS students must wear a valid ID for entry to ALL Athletic Events. Students not wearing IDs will not be granted admission to Athletic Events.

MS Students MUST also be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Clear bag policy remains in effect - NO student backpacks allowed.

With the growth of our district staff, we would also like to remind/inform each of you that staff members are able to enter Athletic Events free of charge with their staff ID. However, any guests or family members with you will be required to pay for entry. Tickets may be purchased in advance at HomeTown Ticketing.
