Get More Math

IU8 will be hosting Get More Math throughout the month of January. Teachers are invited to attend the IU8 Math Network Meeting to find out more about the program and how teachers in our IU are using it to help students in their math classrooms.

Curriculum directors and administrators are invited to meet with the creator of Get More Math, Josh Britton, at the Curriculum Network Meeting to learn more about the product and how their districts can use it for free for the 2016-2017 year.

There will also be a free, full-day training for teachers interested in using it in their classroom this year.

The program

Get More Math provides mixed cumulative review sessions for grades six to nine uniquely tailored to each student's needs, supporting mastery of new skills and long-term retention. Josh Britton developed GMM while teaching in Lancaster County over the last decade, and it helped propel two pilot schools (including Tyrone Area High School) into the top one percent in PA for Algebra growth in 2015-2016. Get More Math is providing unlimited free trial accounts and free training through the end of the school year.

January 31 - Get More Math Teacher Training

LOCATION: Altoona Office

Time: Registration begins at 8:30AM
Training: 9AM - 3PM

Lunch will be provided

Get More Math will be providing training for teachers who would like to learn to use the program in their classrooms. This full-day training will be provided free of charge and will be facilitated by teachers who are currently using the program successfully in their classrooms.

Please bring a laptop with you.
