Dear Thacher Families:

Our 4th grade chorus, lead by Mr. Chippo, did an amazing job performing at Tuesday evening's Mayoral Inauguration. Here is the video of the 2024 City of Attleboro Inauguration, if you would like to watch their performance, they start singing around the 24 minute mark.

Our first Nor'easter of the season is a good reminder to make sure students come to school dressed to be outdoors for a 20 minute recess. The research is very clear that there are significant benefits to being outside as well as having a chance to stretch one's legs and run around. Assuming inclement weather doesn't prevent us from going out, we'll go outside as long as the "feels like" temperature is above 25 degrees.

Thacher's Winter Reading Challenge

70 Students at Thacher were celebrated for participating in the Winter Reading Challenge. We are thrilled to give a special shout out to Mrs. Gordon's class who had the highest participation with 13 student participants.

Grand Prize Winners

Grand prize winners were chosen for each grade level. The winners were awarded posters and books. Great way to show your Panda Pride during vacation! Way to go!
