Meet the Faculty and Staff
Administration
Fr. Arturo Albano
Fr. Arturo was ordained in the Philippines in 1974 and came to the United States in 1979. He has served many parishes in the Archdiocese of San Francisco. He has enjoyed his first year at Saint Vincent de Paul and is energized by the school children.
Marguerite Pini
An avid reader, you may find Ms. Pini roaming the dusty shelves of a used book store or sipping coffee at a cafe reading books on education, history, or philosophy. She has passed on her passion to her three children whom she enjoys sending time with traveling or hanging out in San Diego with the grandparents. She and her husband may be found enjoying a good meal or watching a documentary at home. (Pictured with Blue the Squishmallow she loves and a few family members.)

Kersta Bailey
Kersta spent many years as the 3rd grade teacher and now works as the Literacy Coach for 2nd Grade. In her free time, she enjoying cooking and spending time with friends and family.
Brenda Barkley
Development Director
I have been part of the Saint Vincent de Paul community for 20 years; first as a parishioner, then parent, and now Development Director. I love this place! Other loves: my husband, our daughter, shopping, cooking, knitting, and crossword puzzles.Mariah Berry
This will be my third year at SVDP! Over the summer, I focused on rest, relaxation, and prepping for the Class of 20xx.
Donna Bruno
Music
Ms. Bruno teaches Music at SVDP, plans school Masses and Prayer Services and leads the School Choir. She also teaches Religion in Grade 2. In her free time, she loves to cook, read and travel.
Nicole Calvello
Hi! I am so excited to be joining the SVDP team and community. I am the Social-Emotional and Learning Services Coordinator. When not working, I enjoy going to the beach with my two dogs, cooking, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family.
Leslie Carmignani
I am heading into my 24th year teaching at SVDP, and I am looking forward to my new adventure in middle school! Over the summer, I have been working diligently on increasing my knowledge with teaching executive functioning skills. I love teaching students time management and organizational skills. I love spending time in Lake Tahoe and Hawaii.

Facilities Manager
Mr. Co is a man of many talents. Aside from sharing his electrical expertise, he enjoys cooking for friends and family.
Abigail Dann
Hi! My name is Miss Dann, and I'm excited to be the second grade teacher this year! I have been working at SVDP since the beginning of 2019. I received my Master of Arts in Teaching and California teaching credential from the USF. Outside of school, I love going to the park, cooking, traveling, playing card games, trying new restaurants, and taking long walks all over the city!
Kaitlan de Grosz
6th Grade Homeroom / ELA & SS 5th-6th
Hi! I'm Ms. D., and I am so excited to be the 6th grade teacher at SVDP! I went to Cal Poly, and I got my teaching credential at San Francisco State. I love Harry Potter, sushi, watching movies, and walking by the water in the Marina!
Sue Della Cella
Library Sciences / Teaching Partner 1st & 2nd
I started working at Saint Vincent de Paul School in 1987 as a Junior High aide. In 1994, I moved to the library and have been there ever since. I love baseball and the San Francisco Giants and have worked as an usher for 23 years.
Keith Eskinazi
Educated in Biological Sciences, Computer Info Systems, and STEM Leadership, he holds a Single Subject California Teaching Credential in Biology and a certificate in STEM Education. He is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and coaching young people through relevant and authentic learning experiences. Lastly, he loves spending time with his wife and three boys on adventures in the SF Bay Area and beyond.
Marie Ferdon
Admissions Director
Graduate of SVDP and mother of four SVDP graduates. Real estate agent in San Francisco for 26 years. Love to read, play golf, and go on hikes.
Ashley Jenks
Technology Integration / Office Coordinator
Ms. Jenks has been at SVDP since 2016, and has worn many "hats" - when not at school, she can probably be found with yarn in hand, knitting up a hat, which probably has cat hair woven in from her two cats.
Kerry Kirkpatrick
This is my 6th year at SVDP. I'm so happy to be returning and to be spending an exciting year in Kindergarten. I'm originally from San Diego and have been living in SF for 17 years. When I'm not at school, I enjoying traveling, dancing, and spending time with my cats Helen and Valentino :)
Deb Mahoney
Receptionist
I was born in San Francisco, growing up in a large, gregarious Irish Catholic family! I have enjoyed being a member of SVDP Parish these past few years. In the past I spent many years in the legal field. I enjoy traveling, hiking, reading, all sports and spending time with wonderful friends.
Rosanne Mattson
3rd Grade
I've worked at SVDP for 24 years, serving as a classroom teachers in various grades for 22 of those years. I am the mother of three adults. Outside school, I enjoy reading, swimming, cooking, and watching Scandinavian mysteries featuring brooding detectives with troubled pasts.
DeAnna Melchior
Math Specialist - 3rd, 4th, 7th, 8th
I am happily starting my 17th year at SVDP. My three sons are former graduates and have successfully launched into the world! Favorite past times include walking the city, watching basketball from CYO to the NBA, and spending time with teenagers talking about math concepts, intriguing Netflix series, and pretty much everything else!
Arianna Minolli
Teaching Partner
This will be my fourth year at SVDP. I am excited to continue supporting 4th grade as well as be part of middle school digital arts electives. In my free time I love watching the newest horror films, practicing photography, and grabbing drinks in North Beach.
Holly Posner
4th Grade
I grew up in Connecticut and Maine and have lived in San Francisco since college. I have been working in education since 2004, and this will be my 11th year teaching 4th grade. I love spending my days with children and sharing the joy of learning. Outside school I like to travel, cook, garden, run, swim, ski, hike, read, volunteer in the community, and spend time with my husband and high school daughter.
Ana Sanchez
Instructional & Extended Care Support
This will be my third year in the first grade classroom and my second year in extended care! I enjoy interacting with students through literature and educational games. During my free time, I enjoy going to comedy shows in the Bay Area.
Patricia Shanks
I have been employed at SVDP since 2010. I love to sing and I love to read.
Jenifer Spinale
The 2022-2023 school year will be my sixth year as the 5th grade homeroom teacher, 5th grade math/science/religion and 6th grade math and science. Previously I have taught 3-8 math and K-8 PE. Some of my favorite pastimes are coaching SVDP students who participate in the De Paul Youth Club, reading, and cheering on the Giants, 9ers, and Warriors.
Anna Strain
I have been teaching kindergarten at SVDP for the last 8 years. I love teaching the youngest students at our school and being able to watch them grow throughout the years. Prior to working at SVDP I taught 4th grade and 5th grade for 13 years. When I am not at school you can find me enjoying time at Lake Tahoe with my family or walking the neighborhood with my dog Scout.

1st Grade
Ms. Cece Wehrley joins SVDP for her fifth year. She received a bachelors in advertising with a minor in creative writing from The University of Oregon. She then attended The USF, where she received a Masters in Teaching and her California teaching credential. She is passionate about SEL and tries to incorporate her love for exercise into her classroom routines. Family, friends, traveling, running, baking, and music are among many of her favorite activities. Ms. Wehrley is excited to start another year of her dream job!

Mr. Yeh has been Finance Manager at SVDP School going on seven years! He is an active parishioner at the church. He loves numbers, San Francisco, and his dog, Mickey.
Jesus Zammaron
Visual Arts
Jesus Zamarron is an artist and an art educator who has been teaching art in San Francisco since 2005. He has a MA in Art Education from The Academy of Art University and holds a BFA from Complutense University in Madrid and a Pedagogical Adaptation Certificate from University of Almeria, Spain.
