The literacy leadership team is excited to announce that we will be hosting a family literacy night, Nov. 4th from 6 pm-7 pm. We will go over MTSS, Read by Grade 3 Law, grade-level literacy curriculum, and student learning goals, and have activities parents can do at home to help their child. Please Help Mrs. Thormeier’s Special Education Classroom with donations that you might have around the house. The classroom is looking for supplies to set up a calming/sensory corner. These are items like bean bag chairs, foldable chairs, yoga balls, weighted blankets, fidget toys, coloring books, Hotwheels cars, pillows/material/stuffed animals with sequence to flip up and down, bubbles, kaleidoscope, wonder tubes, and palm massager. The classroom is also in need of children's puzzles, building blocks, highlighter pens, educational toys, games/board games (example: Candy Land), magnatiles, stencils, legos, superhero action figures, dinosaurs, trains and train tracks, little toy trucks, baby doll with hair, and play food. Thank you so much for your support! You are making a difference in their lives and this world.
