Rowan-Salisbury School System's AIG Department is excited to offer in person Enrichment Events and Service Projects for the 2023-2024 school year. These enrichment events are for RSS AIG Identified students in grades 4-8. All events will be held at Horizons Unlimited on Saturday mornings from 9:00am-11:00am. Parents will need to provide transportation to and from the events.

Below is a list of AIG Enrichment Events with dates and descriptions.

Calling all RSS AIG identified students in grades 4-8: Join us on Saturday, October 14th at Horizons Unlimited for a howling good time. This will be a morning of Halloween themed critical thinking activities and service. Families and students are encouraged to bring new or gently used books for Friends of Rowan Public Library while students build ghost rockets, create Halloween Origami bookmarks, and participate in a collaborative problem-solving escape room to figure out how to escape from the haunted mansion!

Book donations are encouraged but not required for participation.

A passport to adventure awaits as students travel around the world in 120 minutes and experience how three different countries and cultures celebrate winter holidays. Students will solve a variety of logic puzzles, create their own Rangoli art, and collaborate to solve an escape room mystery! Families and students are encouraged to bring in travel-sized toiletries to donate to a local shelter.

Travel-sized toiletry donations are encouraged but not required for participation.

Will you be my Bow-wow-entine? Join us on February 10th for a fun-filled morning of Valentine’s Day activitiesI Students will create a Cupid who will fly, use logical thinking to solve cookie logic puzzles, work collaboratively to solve Rebus puzzles, and create their own Valentine’s Day Hink Pinks! Families and students are encouraged to bring in items that will be donated to the animal shelter based on their needs at the time.

Donations to the animal shelter are encouraged but not required to participate.
