Our school attendance has been great! Thank you for bringing your students to school everyday and on time. This is so important to make sure your child does not miss out on any learning. The 3-week grading period has ended and Progress Reports will go home by Monday, Sept. 11th. Thank you families for all you do to support the HHE familia.

School attendance has been great! Please make sure your students are in class on time and ready to learn each day.
7:45 Doors are open and Breakfast begins.
8:05 Students are tardy. Breakfast is over. Teaching begins.
A good routine can help mornings go smoothly. It can look something like this: Wake up, wash face, eat breakfast, get dressed, brush teeth, grab your backpack, leave for school. A picture schedule can be extra helpful for younger students. Helpful hint: prepare the student’s backpack the night before so the communication folder is signed, homework is complete, and the backpack is put in the same place each night before bed.
Your child can earn Eagle Bucks for coming to school every day and on time. Thank you families for bringing your children to school every day!
In order to keep our students, faculty, and staff save, IDs are REQUIRED for ANYONE entering the building. IDs are also required to pickup a student from campus for any reason. Students will not be released without the appropriate identification. Thank you families for your patience and understanding!
Please join us for our first PTA meeting on Tuesday, Sep 5, 2023 at 5:30 pm. 5th grade students will be performing and we have a special guest from the San Antonio Public Library that will engage all in a special reading!. Come join the fun! All grade levels are welcome!

Your child may wear animal print on Monday, September 18th for Animal Print day. Let's show some spirit because at HHE we Wild About Learning!
This year we are partnering with Reading for Education to raise funds for essential tools our students and teachers need to succeed. This program is 100% online so there is no selling or handling of money or products. Your participation is easy with no more than 12 minutes of your time required, and there are great prizes available to make this a fun experience. Packets will go home this week!
Volunteers needed! If you would like to volunteer at the school please fill out the annual application on the link below. There is a volunteer task for everyone. You may attend field trips, decorate bulletin boards, prepare crafts, assist with school functions or in the organization of school projects and so many more tasks. Please take a minute to fill out the application. If assistance is needed please contact the school.
