Hello HEART HEROES!

HEART MONTH is moving by so quickly and Valentine’s Day is almost here! We LOVE to see your students having so much FUN with Kids Heart Challenge all while learning and helping others. They are doing such an AMAZING job and our hearts are so full!

So here is the LATEST:

We have met our goal of $25,000 and Holliday Elementary has raised $26,719.47 Way to go! Friday, February 18 is the last day to turn in money.

The Texas Bluebonnet list is a distinguished list of fiction and nonfiction books selected in the fall each year. These books are targeted for students in grades 3-6. The primary goal for this list is to expose children to different types of literature.

Each year, more than 100,000 students in grades 3-6 from across Texas vote for their favorite title from the master list. The students at Holliday Elementary were challenged to read 5 books from the master list. These students were rewarded with a "Bluebonnet Breakfast" where they voted for their favorite book. The winning book will be announced later this spring.

This year's Elementary Expo was a huge success! Thank you so much for coming to our event. It is important for families to experience learning together. We have the best support in Holliday because of you!
