Wesley Chapel Elementary News
March, 2022
Happy March! We are just two weeks from the end of the 3rd Quarter. Spring break will be the week of March 14th and there is a Teacher Planning Day on Monday, March 21st. We encourage all students to finish the quarter strong.
After spring break, we will be allowing approved volunteers on campus when invited by teachers and/or staff for specific jobs or events.
Within the newsletter, you will see the testing schedule for spring. Please take a look at this as we hope to have all students show what they know in April and May.
Please follow our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/wesleychapelelementary for updated information about bus departures in the afternoon as it becomes available to us.
Please continue to help us by using the report an absence link if your child is not able to attend school for whatever the reason. We appreciate the communication.
Students who have tested positive for COVID-19 must report their status to the school administrator and/or school nurse.
Thank you for your continued support! We appreciate it.
Report Cards
Quarter 3 will end on March 11th. Report cards will be posted in the myStudent Parent Portal on Tuesday, March 29th. We encourage you to contact your child's teacher if you have any questions or concerns. It is our goal for all our Wildcats to be successful: academically, behaviorally, and social-emotionally!
Parent Portal Information
Parent Portal Account Information ~ The following link is a video that describes how to create a Parent Portal account. All families need to have an account set up. If you have not created one, please take some time to do that as soon as possible. If you need a student number and pin number, please email epurcell@pasco.k12.fl.us.
Fortify Florida Awareness
FortifyFL is a suspicious activity reporting tool that allows you to instantly relay information to appropriate law enforcement agencies and school officials. This is a valuable tip line that keeps everyone safe here.
Health and Wellness Update
We want to thank you for utilizing the student screener daily to ensure the health and safety of our school. If your child is exhibiting any symptoms listed on the screener, please keep them home and report the absence. Our clinic assistant or school nurse will follow up with you to help you with any next steps. Student Screener
