Dear Parents, Students, and Families,
We are fast approaching the start of the 2022 school year! We are looking forward to welcoming all our students back to school. I hope everyone had a fun and healthy summer!
BRCOT receives students from several different high schools and each school has its own schedule independent of our own. Thornton Academy and Old Orchard Beach High School students will begin attending our classes on September 6th. Biddeford High School students' first day at BRCOT will be September 1st. The morning session is from 8:35-10:50 which means they need to be in the classroom at 8:35. The afternoon session begins at 12:20 and students are dismissed at 2:45. You will receive more details before school starts from your sending high school as well as from us.
We also know that the first two weeks can feel chaotic with bus schedules and potential class changes and we know it improves with time. If you have questions about your child's schedules at BRCOT, you can always contact your sending school guidance counselor or Holly Scribner at hscribner@biddefordschools.me or 207-282-1501.
Please save the date as we will host an OPEN HOUSE on September 22 from 4:30-6:30. You will be able to meet your child's instructor and see our learning environment first hand. We are planning for the Open House to be in-person this year.
As we begin the new year, we look forward to knowing your child and you. There will be more information sent to you throughout the year as important information and events are scheduled. You can also expect individual instructors to reach out to you and your child as we start the new year. Communication is important and please do hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
