Thank you for your continued support with our health and safety guidance. I'm happy to report that we'll now be able to provide PCR COVID tests right on our school campus for both staff and students. Please take a look at the information below.
OPTION 1
Waikīkī School will offer periodic COVID surveillance testing on our campus through Operation ET. “Surveillance” testing refers to regular testing for individuals who are not experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms. This is an added safeguard to minimizing the spread of COVID-19. This free opportunity is available while supplies are on hand. Students will self-swab their nostrils under the guidance of authorized school personnel. We are looking at holding our first testing event for students on Thursday, September 2, 2021. OPTION 2
For families needing a COVID-19 test due to a close contact situation, and are not Kaiser members, please give the school a call at 971-6900 and ask for Mr. Kusuda for Ms. Mahoney. One of our gracious parents is a licensed physician and can help facilitate the lab ordering for tests at the Kapiolani Medical Center COVID Drive-Through facility.
