Week of Feb. 27th - March 3rd
A quick week!
Hello PES Family,
I hope each of you had a great week. While I have always known it to be true, our area's weather has been bizarre. We have had fog, beautiful sunshine, rain, and back to the cold. I look forward to some consistency soon.
Speaking of consistency, thank you for striving to help your students attend school consistently. Overall, attendance at PES has been excellent this year. There is nothing better than students learning with their peers. Our teachers are working hard to ensure they are ready for assessments, but most importantly, for their future educational journey. Our goal at PES is to prepare them for this beautiful journey.
I encourage you to look at our upcoming events page at the bottom. We have our nine-week assessments around the corner. These assessments will be on March 6th-9th. This will allow our students to show what they have learned. Once we return from spring break, we will send home the results of the assessments and their report card.
I encourage you to keep up with your student's progress on the Parent Vue app. If you do not have it, please go to your app store or click here. This is a great tool to keep up with absences and grades. If you do not remember your login, please contact the school at pes@decturschools.org.

Smart School
SMART SCHOOL is in full force. Smart School is a chance for students to get extra help with homework, studying for tests, and keeping up to date with online programs. Smart School is open until 6 each day. If you want more information about it, please contact Dr. Pearcy by emailing her @ amanda.pearcy@decaturschools.org.
