Programm
3-4 July Expanding dimensions
5-6 July Unique Tunique
7 July Garden Gatherings; find your true colours
Expanding dimensions Through sculptural techniques, including resists and felt lamination, we will develop forms to explore spaces, surface, colour and dimension in nature. New forms with spirals and splashes, 2days. Some felting experiences essential.
Freefrom Tunic We will produce prefelt yardage to create garments with twist, pocketing and swales using minimal patterns. Let run your creativity free. Students can bring their own coloured fabrics and wool or work in white with an option to dye and print them in the Garden Gatherings workshop.
Garden Gatherings: find your true colours We will explore the potential for using plants from our local environment to colour mark and pattern cloth, thread and fibre.
