Congratulations Yearbook Staff!
The NFHS 2023 Yearbook, Closing Time, was honored with a highly prestigious Second Place Award by the American Scholastic Press Association. NFHS's yearbook was the only entry from Connecticut in the Senior High Schools with 500-1000 enrollment category to receive a Top 3 award!
Congratulations to the editors, alumni Savannah Goodness '23 and Hailey Hancock '23 and current Senior Editors Avery Yorio '24 and Isabel Marotta '25 who were on the staff of the 2023 yearbook! Special thanks and congratulations to the Yearbook Advisory, Ms. Randlett!

9th Grade Families & Students Invited to Transition to HS Night
Check Out Course Choices for 10th Grade and Beyond!
Students and families of the Class of 2027 are invited on January 30th to Transition to High School Night. While this event has typically been for 8th grade students and families, we think our new format will help our 9th grade students and families get a better sense of the programs that are available at NFHS!
While the welcoming session is focused on our incoming students, we encourage you to attend the sessions that will take place around the building by our teachers highlighting our programs in Art, Business, Child Development, Construction Lab, Culinary Arts, Engineering & Robotics, Fashion & Interior Design, Media Lab, and Music & Music Technology. These sessions begin at 7:00pm. More information and a schedule will be sent out in the coming days via SchoolMessenger.
