Food For Thought

Celebrations are an important part of life - they bring joy to us and those around us. Today's scripture reminds us God celebrates with us and has already approved what we do. Celebrating life is a way of showing gratitude for the blessings that come our way, even in the midst of grief. Celebrating victories, no matter how small or big, can be uplifting and inspiring and help us to see that there is still so much more for our life.

Celebrating life means taking time out from our busy schedules and making room for special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries, holidays such as Christmas or Easter, or even just simply gathering friends together for dinner on a weeknight. Celebrations should be filled with laughter and good memories; they should be moments when we can forget about all of the stress in our lives and just enjoy being present in the moment.

Celebrating victories is also an important part of celebrating life - whether it's achieving goals at home, work, or school, completing a project, or having great results on tests/exams - these accomplishments deserve recognition! We should take time to appreciate ourselves for all that we have achieved and the hard work that we put in to get where we are.

Father, You understand our heartache and pain. You comfort us in our struggles with sorrow, and You say to celebrate life. Celebrate those who have come to be with their Father in Heaven. I am grateful. Amen
