Schedules will be mailed out this week for incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th Graders. These schedules are subject to change slightly. Thanks goes out to Ms. Zender for all of her hard work getting these in order!

Anyone participating in a fall sport, please make sure your physicals are completed prior to the first day of practice, you can NOT practice until we have one on file. There is some information regarding physicals in this newsletter below.

Junior High Parents and Students:

Remind101 has been a valuable tool for the office to communicate with parents and students by text and/or email. We use Remind101 for quick reminders and JH deadlines and important events.

However, starting in July, Remind101 is limiting the service they offer for free.

In order for us to continue using the free service we have to separate each class into their own group.

If you are currently signed up for Remind101 for the Junior High you will no longer receive updates using that account as that account has been archived. You will have to re-sign up for the account(s) below that pertain to you.

At this time the office will not set up separate groups for students as we make daily announcements each morning and at the end of the day. The above groups are for parents only.

Please refer to the schedule below when looking over your student's schedule (especially when referring to Success and Lunch). O, B or W on your student's schedule refers to Orange Day, Black Day or White Day.

Online registration for the 2019-2020 school year is NOW available - FORMS ARE DUE JUNE 1st

You will see a box similar to the image below for the 2019-2020 school year. You will need to click to switch to the 2019-2020 school year before you start updating information.

CLICK HERE to start your online registration for a returning student. You will use your same account from last year. All of the information automatically comes over from last year. You will only have to sign each page and update any information that may have changed. It would be helpful to all of us if you could fill this out ASAP. Please fill the forms out by June 1st.

Attention all 7th and 8th grade students taking Intro to FCS, Fun with Foods, and/or Personal Wellness during the 2019-2020 school year!!!! Try to get in this summer your 5 hours (that's required for these classes) of service learning (volunteering). If you volunteer this summer, you won't have to worry about it in the fall or in second semester. YOU CANNOT GET PAID for these hours. It is a volunteer opportunity that helps prepare you for a career/job/life, in general, some day. Have a great summer and with all of your spare time, go out and volunteer in the community!

OHSAA Physical Forms are accessible via Final Forms.

Registration is open for next year so you'll simply log-in to your Final Forms account and click on next year's registration. From there you can access, fill out, and print the OHSAA PPE form.

First, you'll need to add a sport for your child which will populate the athletic forms.

The form you'll fill out is OHSAA PPE Physical Form (For Physicians). The following forms also need to be filled out before completing the OHSAA PPE Physical Form (For Physicians): Health History & Medical Profile and OHSAA Authorization.

2019-2020 School pictures will be taken at Back-to-School day on August 13, 8:00-8:00.

Below is a sample of the picture form. Hard copies of the form will be available at Back-to-School day or you can order online using the Picture Day ID found at the top of the form.

Please try attend Back-to-School day for school pictures, pay school fees, purchase spirit wear, get bus schedule, pay for lunches and more.

Your seventh grader has been given a packet of information for the upcoming Washington DC trip in October. If your child is interested in attending, please have them share the packet with you. Registration and payment is all done online at www.studentadventures.com. Please understand that the price quoted by Student Adventures is the "full price" of the trip. We have done some fundraising and will have another fundraiser in the Spring to further reduce the cost of the trip. We are anticipating the trip to cost approximately $75.00 to $100.00 less than the $605.00 quoted. If you are interested there is a payment plan associated with the trip, please see the website for details.

Replacement agenda books can be purchased for $5 in the office.

Yearbook order forms will be sent home in the Spring. Yearbooks will be handed out the last week of school.

The link to access Online Grades is on the Parent tab on the JH page of the Otsego website (otsegoknights.org). Your child's username is their Student ID #. Their password is the first 3 letters for their first name with the first letter capitalized. For example: 12345 Joy

Yes. In your app store search for Powerschool. The username and password is the same one you use to access Online Grades. Our school code is CJCX.
