I hope this message finds you with a smile on your face and a peacefulness in your heart. This week we are fully back to school showing off all we've learned. At the end of this week, we will begin our mid-year assessments. It's hard to believe we are already inching towards the middle of the year.

Did you know that CCPS is hiring substitute teachers and paraeducators? We offer monthly orientation sessions for you to get started. This is a great way to make some extra money and work a flexible schedule. Rates vary from $126 - $183 per day. Our next orientation session is on October 25th so apply today at culpeperschools.org

If you would like to send in a check, please make it out to Yowell Elementary School and put "musical donation" in the memo line. Putting on a musical is very expensive so we appreciate all of the help we can get!

In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here.

We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.

We are happy to have a School Resource Officer (SRO) this year at Yowell. You can contact Deputy Sinclair with any concerns you have with school safety or anything that would be related to criminal activity.
