Holy Cross is pleased to announce that Mr. Brandon Marxman will be joining our faculty this semester as the 7th-grade homeroom and middle school math teacher. Mr. Marxman received undergraduate and graduate degrees from Benedictine College. After graduating, he began his career at Cerner where he realized that he wanted to fulfill his dream of becoming a firefighter. Mr. Marxman has been studying to be an EMT and firefighter while substitute teaching in the Atchison Public Schools and has found he really enjoys teaching middle and high school math. He is proficient in technology and is comfortable teaching both remote and on-site learning models.
Brandon and his wife Macy have an eight-month-old son, Paxton. They will be moving to Kansas City at the beginning of the year and are excited to move near Holy Cross where Mr. Marxman will be able to teach while completing his training with the Overland Park Fire Department. With his expertise and experience, we are confident that Mr. Marxman will be a great addition to our staff. Please help me in welcoming him and his family to the Holy Cross Community.
