What an amazing week! Kindergarten Roundup, STEAM Night, Skating Party, and Parents Night Out were all this week! I wanted to give a big shout out to those staff and families who consistently venture out and support our school. As we look to get the most out of these last 40 days, please take a few moments to celebrate those who make great things happen. Without the behind-the-scenes work of staff and families, so many opportunities would not be afforded our school! Thank you to all those hard working people who generally work without the need for pomp and circumstance to continue to make this school a great place to learn and grow.!

Watch this video to learn more about AIR’s Indiana Assessment Portal for ILEARN, IREAD-3, and I AM. This tour provides a brief overview of each portal’s main features, how to search for information and resources, and the best ways to contact the AIR Help Desk.

We would like to invite our families to some upcoming fine arts events. First, on April 23, the Hawthorne Choir will perform at the Warren Township Choral Fine Arts Festival along with the intermediate, middle and high school choirs. The performance will begin at 7 pm and admission is $4.00 each. Choir members should wear their choir shirt and jeans. April 29-May 3 is the Warren Township K-6 Art Show at the Porter Service Building (9150 E. Rawles Ave.) Hawthorne Night is May 2 from 4:30 to 7 pm. (See below).

The annual Warren Township K-6 Art Show will be held at Porter Service Center (9150 E. Rawles Avenue, just east of Post Road) from Monday, April 29th through Friday, May 3rd and is open from 7 am-7 pm. Opening Night is on Monday, April 29th and Hawthorne Night is on Thursday, May 2nd, both from 4:30-7 pm. Please join us in supporting Fine Arts at Hawthorne and in Warren Township!

The Sonny Day Community Center is located at 10502 E. 21st Street. It is run by volunteers from the Warren Twp. Council of PTA's. They provide food, toiletries, cleaning products, school supplies and gently used clothing. Visit during distribution times listed below.
