Mark Your Calendars - Tech Breakfast is September 3rd

We will be having our next Tech Breakfast on Thursday September 3rd from 7:30-8:30am. This event is for parents to learn about how we use technology at MVA, and for teachers to share how they use the iPads in their classroom. I'd love to have some of you share how you use Explain Everything in your classroom. Light refreshments will be served.

App Spotlight: ThingLink

ThingLink is an excellent tool for creating interactive images. There is a web and an app version, both of which are free and easy to use. Students can upload an image, then add interactive features on the image where you can hover over to see a link, text, or even a video pop up with more information. I'd love to see what you create, and feature some student and/or teacher samples on the MVA Viking Tech website.

Tech Tuesdays in room 403

Tech Tuesdays is an informal gathering of teachers to chat about technology, ask and answer questions, and share how we are using technology in our classroom. We meet at lunch in room 403 (Ms. Venturino)--don't worry about coming late or leaving early, all are welcome!
