CAT AND DOG

Lupe the cat and Milner the dog often spend time together.

- You´re very pretty. Please marry me when we are older, -says the dog.

- Yes, of course. Then we can live happily ever after, -says the cat.

The cat always wears her jewellery. Today she´s wearing her gold necklace, her pearl dress and her diamond boots.

- I love my pearl dress. It´s the prettiest dress in the world, -says the cat.

- Come on, Lupe. Let´s go to the city, -says the dog.

The cat and the dog sometimes go to the village and sometimes go to the city.

- Let´s go to the shopping centre. It´s very nice, -says the cat.

- Ok! -says the dog.

Lupe takes off her clothes in the fitting room.

- I´m not taking off my trousers. A real dog never takes off his clothes, -says the dog.

Suddenly, the dog and the cat see a giant dinosaur.

- Aha! A pearl dress, -says the dinosaur.

- Don´t be scared, Milner. I can protect you, -says the cat.

- I´m not scared! -says the dog.

The dinosaur takes the cat with her pearl dress.

- Help! -shouts the cat.

- Don´t be scared, Lupe. I can save you! -says the dog.

The dog puts on his clothes.

- I've got an idea, -he says.

Milner is very brave. He goes into the river and talks to the dinosaur.

- Please, free Lupe the cat. Have my shoes.

- No, I prefer the cat´s necklace, -says the dinosaur.
Milner the dog is sad but he has another idea.

- Please, free Lupe the cat. Have my shoes and my hat, -he says.

- No, I prefer the cat´s necklace, -says the dinosaur.

Milner the dog is sad but he makes a decision.

Please free cat Lupe. Have my shoes, my hat and my trousers, -he says

Ok! -says the dinosaur.

But when the cat sees Milner she´s very angry.

Where are your shoes, your hat and your trousers?, -she asks.

The dinosaur has got them. But you are free and we can be together, -says Milner.

But you haven´t got shoes, hat or trousers. You don´t look like a real dog, says the cat.

And you don't act like a real cat and I don't want you anymore, -says the dog.

So the cat and the dog don't get married and they don't live happily ever after.
