As we prioritizes health and safety with our full return to in-person instruction, MSEC is updating its safety protocols. MSEC is maintaining several health protocols while enhancing safety measures. We are mindful of the rising cases and the spread of the Delta variant. Therefore, masks should be worn indoors (schools) and on buses by all employees and students, regardless of vaccination status until further notice.

The weather is finally cooling down; however, please remember our "no hood" policy. Per the student handbook: Students are not permitted to wear a jacket with a hood, even if it was previously purchased through a school sponsored club or sport. (Students are not allowed to tuck their hoods in the inside of their jacket) Hoodies (sweatshirt-style pullovers with a hood) are not permitted, even those with the school logo or given for club/athletic participation.

Also, the use of non school issued technoolgy is strictly prohibited during the school day.

Our student council has sponsored a food drive between Thanksgiving and Winter break in order to gather donations for the holiday season for families in need. There is a class competitions of all cohorts and grades with the highest donating cohort receiving a pizza party and the highest donating grade receiving free dress out for all Fridays in the month of January. Thanks to your efforts, we've collected over 400 donations! 8B and 6B are neck and neck with only a difference of 4 donations. Our 6th graders have secured their 1st place spot with 207 donations, 8th grade is right behind them with 126 donations, 7th has a 46, and 9th grade has a total of 37. This is our last week for the food drive and we’ve reached approximately 70% of our goal of 600 donations with your help. Winners are expected to be annouced this Thursday.
