We still have spots available TOMORROW for our Senior Citizen Technology Class for Hemlock Public School District residents. Limited space available, call (989) 642-5282 to secure your seat.

Don’t forget your class dues of $45. Class dues can be broken up by year: $10/$10/$10/$15; or they can be paid in one lump sum. Payment can be in the form of a check or cash and can be turned into the office. Class dues are utilized to pay for things like prom, graduation, class trip and other expenses over the course of high school.

The Class of 2024 is selling Hemlock inspired Pura Vida bracelets. Bracelets will be sold at both lunch hours and home sporting events. Bracelets are $5 each with three color options: blue & white; blue, gray & white; or spring/summer multi. Please contact a Class Advisor for further information.

2/23/22 - V Girls BBall @ Standish - W (55-49) Chloe Watson led Hemlock with 26 points while Regan Finkbeiner added 18 points. Breanna Turner led Hemlock with 8 rebounds while Samantha Venegas added 8 rebounds.

2/23/22 - JV Girls BBall @ Standish - W (48-16) Izzy Krueger had 16 points and 8 steals, Megan Tilot 10 points, Izzy Curry 7 points, Ava Graham 5 points and 6 rebounds, Kennedy Krabill 5 points, and Carly Siler 5 points.

2/24/22 - JV Boys BBall vs. Millington - L (47-48) Zach Seidel had 17 points, Dawson Doan had 11 points and Keygon Gilbert had 10 points.

2/24/22 - JV Girls BBall vs. Millington - W (46-16) Carly Siler had 16, Izzy Krueger and Izzy Curry each put up 9 points. Kennedy Krabill finished with 6 points, while Megan Tilot 4 and Ava Graham 2. Great Season Girls!!! JV girls finished their season 17-3.

2/25/22 - V Girls BBall @ Millington - W (62-37) Hemlock was led by Regan Finkbeiner with 19 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists. Averi Hall added 9 points. Chloe Watson, Samantha Venegas, and Alyssa Dearman each scored 8 points. Breanna Turner had 7 points and 8 rebounds.

11) Do you think playing sports at Hemlock has made a difference in your life? Why?

- Definitely. I've met so many amazing people through my sport. It's also brought me so many unique experiences and taught me countless life lessons.

12) Favorite sport memory?

- My favorite memory is winning States in 2019. It was my first time ever experiencing a win and it was so awesome to be a part of back-to-back wins.

Congratulations to Luke Zastrow! He took 1st place at the MHSPLA Powerlifting State Final in the 123 lb. weight class.

Attention track and field athletes--There will be a meeting for all girl and boy track and field athletes on Monday, March 7 at 2:30 in the auditorium. Be there and bring 2 friends who are interested in track and field.

Spring Sports are just around the corner! Practices begin March 14th for baseball, softball, golf, girls tennis, girls soccer & track & field. All athletes MUST be registered in FinalForms and have a valid physical on file before the 1st day of practice.

Coach Larry Graf has been put on the ballot for this year's Saginaw County Hall of Fame. If you would like to vote, click this link to become a Lifetime Voting Member. Once you are registered, you will receive a voting ballot in the mail.

-Began his coaching career in 1986 as head softball coach at Hemlock High School
-Continued to play fastpitch softball at the Class A level while coaching
-Captured three Tri-Valley West Division Conference championships
-Won seven district titles, three regional titles, and three appearances in the Final Four
-Compiled a career record of 702-272
-Hemlock's softball field was renamed Larry Graf Field in his honor
-Inducted into the Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association in 2006
-Inducted into the Michigan Amateur Softball Association Hall of Fame
