Mr. Posick's Friday email

Today completed our third week of school. The students are doing amazingly well, the staff is providing engaging lessons, and I can't believe how often I see the students reading, even on the playground. Students are working on their own, with partners, and in small groups. They are polite and cooperative and encouraging. The staff notices, and so do I. Thanks for sharing your children with us!

Thanks to our grade level teams for hosting Family Information Nights this week. This was an opportunity to meet the teams, hear about procedures, and learn about how the teams communicate with families. If you were unable to attend, the teams did send their presentations out via email, but I have also linked them here in my website.

Family Night Presentations

Our Student Senate is having a Penny War next week to raise funds for hurricane relief. I have been able to connect with Woodard Elementary School in Texas. We are "adopting" them in an effort to bring a little joy back into their lives. Some of the funds from our feeder school dance last Friday are also going toward this effort. If you would like to donate as well, please contact me for specifics. Thank you!

The Arrowhead Warhawks are holding a cheer camp for students in K-8th grades on the following dates.

September 30th 9-11AM

October 1st Parade

October 6th 6PM
