Mill Valley Weekly
May 26th, 2022
Hello Mill Valley Families,
Our hearts go out to the families affected by the recent tragedy in Texas. We continue to make our students' safety a priority here at Mill Valley. If your child is in need of additional support during this time, please reach out to the Mill Valley office.
Just a reminder that there is no school for students on Friday and Monday. Please spend valuable time with your family and be sure to remember those who fought for our freedom.
Sincerely,
Robin Schrot, Principal
Allyce Harris, Associate Principal

Help People who are Homeless
Mrs. Patchel’s second grade students care about people that are homeless. We are researching homelessness and look forward to teaching the other kids at Mill Valley. We learned that some people do not have the things they need to stay healthy. We want to help by collecting toiletries.
We are in need of toiletries. Please bring items such as shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hairbrushes, soap, or other hygiene items. Place them in the bins labeled toiletries. They will be donated to a shelter for homeless people. Please bring these items from May 23-June 3. Thanks for supporting our cause and Mrs. Patchel’s second grade class!
Congratulations!!
PTO meetings are held monthly to get to know our Mill Valley families better. Our main goal is to create a fun socializing community while brainstorming fundraising events, family activities and ideas to make Mill Valley a great school. This year, parents who attended our meetings or events earned a point towards their child's classroom. After totaling up all points for the school year, our winning classroom teacher is: MRS. HAMBERGER. Mrs. Hamberger was awarded an Amazon Gift Card to purchase supplies/teaching materials for her classroom. Thanks to all of our MV families for your involvement this year. We appreciate all your input and feedback to help create fun events for our MV staff, students & families throughout the school year. We hope to see more MV families participating in PTO next year!
