First semester has been flying by! We are in the second half of quarter 3 and getting ready for spring sports! Even though February is a short month, we have it packed full of events here at EHS!

Miss EHS Pageant Information
Miss EHS contestants will have their 1st practice on Wednesday, February 28th at 3:45p in the auditorium. Bring your dancing shoes!
Any pageant contestant who wishes to be a part of the Miss Photogenic contest should meet to get their headshot photo taken on February 20th at 4pm in the Media Center! At the end of the pageant, you will receive an 8x10 black & white headshot!
Please come join us at the Easley Area Regional Art Exhibition. Artwork created by students (K-12) from all of the Easley area schools will be showcased during this event.

Students Clubs and Organizations
Environmental Club
Environmental Club is dedicated to help our EHS community by recycling and aiding in the beautification process of the school. We learn about environmental issues and how we can help the community. Everyone is welcome to jump in to the club at any point in the year. Hope to see you at our meetings! We meet on Mondays from 3:30-4:10 in room 144 (Mrs. Lycett's room)
National Honor Society
NHS will meet in the media center right after school on February 22nd. There will be a makeup meeting on February 26th at 8am in room 245.
Speech and Debate Club
Come join the first ever Speech and Debate Club in Pickens County! Join us in Mrs. Ear's room, room 208, on Mondays after school until 4:45. We will practice our debate skills and prepare for upcoming TOURNAMENTS!
Yearbook Staff Applications
Are you an upcoming 10th-11th grade student and interested in joining the Yearbook Journalism Class? Applications are available in the folder beside Mrs. Brank's room 154 or you can go to our flow link page: www.flow.page/easleyyearbook
Spanish Club
The purpose of the Spanish Club is to foster interest in the Hispanic culture, to provide an opportunity to speak Spanish in an informal setting and to learn more about the Hispanic world. All students with an interest in Spanish are welcome to join the Spanish club and participate in its activities. Membership: Cost is $3. Membership and participation in the club and activities will enhance your learning experience of the language. Belonging to clubs and organizations is an asset when applying for colleges and scholarships. We typically meet once a month.
