Dr. Willie Parker -- Sept 2, MEB
Dr. Willie Parker works at the last women’s clinic of its kind in Mississippi. He focuses on preventing violence and sexual assault against women, reproductive health rights through advocacy, providing contraceptive services, and men's reproductive health. Dr. Parker is the 2015 recipient of the Margaret Sanger Award. Read details HERE.
Pediatrics Infectious Disease -- Sept. 12, MEB
This year’s conference features four speakers, in an interactive and informal format. The content is intended to hep practicing clinicians answer questions they encounter in their daily practices. Registration fee is $100 for physicians, $50 for nurses and free for students (though they are encouraged to please rsvp.) For more details click HERE.
COPD Day, Sept. 12, The Queen's Conf. Ctr.
They're showing the latest equipment and talking about new rehabilitation programs at the 7th Annual COPD Day Event at the Queen's Conference Center. Portable Oxygen Concentrators not commonly seen in Hawaiʻi will be shown and discussed along with a new Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program recently launched in Honolulu. More details are posted HERE.
