The Appleton Echo
Spring Term 1, Week 1
A Word from Mr Broom
Our assembly focus this week has been on 'being your best self' and our Pupil Promise. We want to encourage the children to talk more about their learning, so please do ask about their school day. It really helps.
Have a lovely weekend everyone.
New Feature - Car Convos!
Talk is really important for all learners in school and we know that our children are exposed to lots of exciting learning opportunities, both at home and at school. To help develop speaking and listening skills and knowledge of the wider world, we're introducing Car Convos! A topic that we share in the newsletter on a Friday, that families can discuss in the car on their travels. We'll then pick this up after the weekend.
This week's Car Convo - 'What is your best self and how can you show it?'

A polite reminder that we have children in school who have severe nut allergies. Please ensure that you do not bring nuts on to the school site or include them in packed lunches.
Thank you for your support with this.
Staff Shout Outs
I've had a few messages from parents/carers asking about how they can send a staff shoutout for a staff team. It's great that you think about them and really does help to raise morale.
