Koennecke Elementary
Weekly Update
Happy Monday Koennecke Famiiles!
It is hard to believe have already completed our third week of school. Our students are already off to a great start and we know we have strong family connections and support to thank! Partnerships with families are one of the most important things to us here at Koennecke.
Our weekly Wednesday Smore is a great place to find out how you can stay connected, find out about upcoming events, and support your students! We had our first fire drill this week and our students did a great job! Please give them some praise and let them know how important it is to practice these safety measures. Safety is always at the forefront of actions here at Koennecke and we want our students to feel more safe and empowered when we practice drills.
Transportation Changes
If you need to change the way your child goes home, please send it in writing with a note to your child's teacher. Phone calls to change the way a student goes home must occur before 2:30pm.
From Mrs. Santos, Assistant Principal
Make sure you are on time every day! We are looking to highlight the classes with the best attendance. Please be sure your items (jackets, water bottles, lunchboxes, etc) are labeled with names and grade level.
