FFA Membership Drive
Lubbock-Cooper Liberty FFA is having their membership drive this week! Students who are in an agriculture class come by room 103 on Wednesday during tutorials to grab breakfast, mingle with our officers, meet other members, and see if FFA is a fit for you!
Pep Rally
Thursday, September 14th, we will have our first pep rally at Liberty High School. We will be joined by Central Elementary 2nd graders. We will run a Patriot Pride Schedule and the pep rally will begin promptly at 11:40 am.
London and Paris Trip
If your student is interested in traveling to London and Paris this summer, please check out the link below for more information. Coach Bruington is the main point of contact for the London & Paris trip.

New York Trip
Liberty High School will sponsor a trip to New York this summer. There will be an informational meeting on Monday, September 11th at 5pm. Please see the below link and flier for more information.

Swimmers Wanted
Lubbock Cooper Liberty Swim and Dive Team would like to extend an invitation to interested students to join the swim and dive team. Please contact Coach Matticks mmatticks@lcisd.net for more information.
Combined LCISD High School Orchestra Community Opportunity
The Combined Liberty and LCHS Orchestra is still gathering members of the Lubbock Community to join their 1st Handel's Messiah Community Sing-In this December. Here is the link for info, and the flier is attached. https://url.lcisd.net/84q

School Picture makeup Day
We will have our picture makeup day on Monday, September 18th. Students that did not take pictures during Patriot Orientation will take pictures on the morning of the 18th before and during the first period.
Band Spectacular
Join the LCP Band Family for a Night of Music and Celebration! Our Pirates and Patriots will be showcasing their 2023 UIL Marching Shows. Performances will also feature our LBMS and LCMS Band Programs
Anato-Bee
Does your student have a desire to be a Nurse, Doctor, Physical Therapist, or join the large variety of medical field jobs? If so, encourage them to register and participate in the Anato-Bee. Attendance Notification Information
Parents are to report student absences including early outs/late arrivals in their Skyward Family Access via an attendance request. This can be done in the app or on a computer.
When submitting an Early Out or Late Arrival absence request, please be sure to UNSELECT the ‘all day check mark’. This ensures the attendance office knows what time your child will be leaving and/or arriving. Campus attendance email is for submitting documentation, such as a doctor's note. If you have any questions, please contact Morgan Petty at mpetty@lcisd.net or call the front office.
School Cafeteria Information
Liberty High School utilizes LINQ Connect to make meal payments, link student accounts, access menus, track purchases and more! Visit linqconnect.com and click "Register" (upper right corner) to create an account. Once your account is created, login using the email and password you have just set. After you've logged in, you will see an option to "Add Child" on the right side of the screen. Add your child and follow the prompts to deposit money.
You (or your child) can also take a check or cash to any LCISD cafeteria or the LCISD Administrative Offices to be deposited in your child's account.
Outside Food Delivery
Due to security concerns, no outside entity (DoorDash, Pizza delivery, Chick-fil-a delivery, etc.) will be allowed to drop off lunches for students. Parents/Guardians may bring lunch for their students. Lunch can be dropped off in the front office. Please be sure your student knows they are getting lunch so they can come pick it up in the office.
