We are excited to reward and honor our Hazelwood Summer Readers. Any student who has completed the Summer Reading Paper should bring it to their teacher no later than Wednesday, August 24th. We can't wait to celebrate with these dedicated students!

A Note from The Principal...

Please watch the video below for very important information for the first week of school.

School Safety

Our school continues to welcome WPD Officers on campus every day!
We have scheduled regular meetings with WPD Officers to ensure our daily safety practices are up-to-date and effective.
We take our emergency drills very seriously to ensure our students know what to do to stay safe.
Bus Rider Safety will be taught to every student during the first two weeks of school.
Our left and right front hallway doors will continue to be locked at all times.
Individuals who were not able to get a car tag at our Back to School Night will have their license checked with the Front Office during our first day of car line to ensure they are on the pick-up list. Car tags will then be placed in student folders.
Please make sure to update the names on your student's information sheet for individuals approved to pick your student up from school.

PAW-sitive Pack

We are kicking off the school year with a new PAW-sitive Pack Program! We will kick-off this program with students during an assembly this week. Look for more information about incentives in Mr. Trantham's video next week!

Hazelwood Spotlights: Back to School Night

Our teachers worked diligently to prepare their classrooms for the return of students. Faculty and Staff also worked together to decorate the building and make a fun return for students. Bubbles, balloons, friends, and food trucks were keeping the campus busy throughout the evening. Faculty and Staff worked hard to get important information out to families. Thank you for supporting us and sharing your precious moments with us. It was a fun time for all!
