Dear Hyde-Addison ES Families,

I hope you took some time to enjoy Spring Break. Please be reminded that all students will remain in their current classes April 19-23, 2021. Term 4 transitions will begin April 26, 2021.

Term 4 Key Dates

• April 19-23, 2021: All students will remain with their current teachers during the 1st week of Term 4, to prepare for the transition. Families will receive notification of any homeroom shifts, this week.
• April 26, 2021: Students who have accepted an In-Person or CARE Classroom seat for Term 4, will begin reporting to the physical Hyde-Addison school building, based on guidance disseminated on April 21, 2021.

Members of the DCPS School Planning Team will present information to the Hyde-Addison community on potential options for the Foxhall and MacArthur sites to address overcrowding in the Wilson HS feeder pattern, how those options may impact boundaries, feeder patterns, and school options in the feeder pattern, and close with a Q & A session.

We are excited to host outdoors and socially distant portrait day for Hyde-Addison students on Wednesday, April 28! In-Person students will have their photo taken in the morning and virtual learners can schedule appointments for photos in the afternoon by clicking here.
