September 2022
It was a fast 2 weeks!
Wow--the first two weeks of school went really quickly! We had lots of great activities, ball games, some new building improvements, some class competitions--there are good things happening here, and I give full credit to the phenomenal staff and building principals. I know there are things I'm going to miss simply because there are so many good things going on every day, but I hope you'll take a few minutes to browse this newsletter and see what we've been up to these first couple of weeks!
Dr. Spencer
The classes went all out for the hall decorating contest this week! Love that school spirit!

September's Character Trait: Flexibility
We have a new big screen and projector in the gym
This project was in the works last year, but due to supply issues just wrapped up this week. We're looking forward to the opportunity to use it! And look forward to the new AC system during the first part of basketball season--it's up and running.
Elvis is in the building
Mrs. Maneval had some help overseeing the hall decorating contest this week--and he showed his Lion Pride with some spirit wear!
A "hole" lot of work going on
If you noticed some equipment and a large hole at the end of the building, that's just some retaining wall work we're having done--a big thank you to Weston Ash for taking care of that for us.
PTO Meeting 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 6, in the High School Library. Regular meetings are the first Monday of every month, 6:00 p.m., HS Library.
Our first home baseball game drew a HUGE crowd as we took on Iberia. We didn't bring home the W, but we had lots of solid hitting and fielding going on--great job Baseball Lions!
