WELCOME, DR. QUINN!

We are excited to welcome our new vice principal, Dr. Steve Quinn, to HVCHS! Dr. Quinn will be the vice principal responsible for the Class of 2023 and the Class of 2025, and will be working closely with Ms. Riley on state testing, extra-curricular activities, and other special projects.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Freshman / New Student Schedule Walkthrough - On August 30, all freshmen and new students are invited to participate in an informal walk-through of their schedules between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.. The students will have the opportunity to locate their classrooms, open their lockers, and familiarize themselves with the main areas of the school. Each student must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the walkthrough.

Freshman / New Student Drive Thru Celebration - On September 1, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., we'll be welcoming our freshmen and new students with a Drive Thru Celebration. This annual tradition is a fun filled, high energy evening designed to celebrate our newest Bulldogs. If you are the parent/guardian of an incoming freshman or a new student, please complete this form by August 25 to RSVP for this event.

Back to School Night - We are excited to return to an in-person Back to School Night on September 15, beginning at 6 p.m., using this schedule. Additional information will be shared prior to the start of school.

HELP WANTED

As we return to school in September, we'll be engaging in a series of games and activities to review our expectations, protocols, and procedures. We are currently collecting gift cards to use as prizes for staff and students. If you are able to donate a $10 gift card to a local business, we would appreciate your support! Please drop your donations off at the HVCHS main office, or mail them to Ms. Riley at:

One of our priorities at HVCHS is service learning. We will be continuing with our tradition of partnering with a local non-profit organization during each month of the school year. A MESSAGE FROM THE PTO

As you enjoy the summer, please consider that the HVCHS PTO welcomes and encourages participation from all parents/guardians. If you are willing to share your time and talent, please email Kerry Nulman or Kathryn Somers. There is a perfect role waiting for you!

Save the date! October 14 is Bingo Night Out and all HVCHS parents are invited to attend. Bring your friends and enjoy refreshments, fabulous prizes like designer handbags and vacation stays, and support the Class of 2024. More details to come.

CLASS UPDATES

Class of 2023:

Senior Portrait Sessions are still underway -- Lors Photography will be at HVCHS later this month for makeup sessions, which are by appointment only. Please schedule your appointment online at: https://myschedule.lorsstudio.com/accounts/login/ You may Refer to the emails previously sent from Lors for registration/scheduling and your personal log-in. If you need additional assistance, please email VP Secretary Mrs. Susan Shin at susanshin@hvrsd.org or call 609-737-4003 x3511.
Please be sure to submit your parking permit forms to Mrs. Joanne Crognale in the VP Office as soon as possible in order to ensure that your forms are processed prior to the start of school.
The Senior Sunrise will take place on September 6th at 6:15am on the HVCHS Turf Field. You bring a blanket, we'll bring the donuts! Throughout the year, senior event information from the PTO will be communicated via email. Ordering information for Senior Apparel is coming soon!

Please support the Class of 2024! The Class of 2024 PTO Parents are looking for donations, goods and services we can auction off at our Bingo Night Out and Silent Auction on Oct 14. Contact Michele Garzio for more details.
