Prayer
Reflection
Gratitude and thankfulness is a state of mind that reflects out to the world.
What are you most thankful for from the last week with your students? How did that impact your day and your week? Can that be repeated this week?
The Virtue of Magnanimity (also known as Benevolence)
DEFINITION OF MAGNANIMITY
Seeking with confidence to do great things in God; literally "having a large soul"
PRAYER FOR MAGNANIMITY:
Sacred Heart of Jesus, You loved us even to the point of death. Give me a big heart! Give me Your heart! Help me to love others with all my heart!
MAGNANIMITY LOOKS LIKE:
- Having an awareness of the goodness of God in yourself
MAGNANIMITY SOUNDS LIKE:
- At baptism, I received God's grace and became His child.

Brick by Brick: A Series of Landmark Studies Pointing to the Importance of Early Reading Intervention
1. When children do not receive adequate reading instruction, early reading difficulties are likely to lead to later reading difficulties.
2. Many reading difficulties can be reduced or even eliminated as a result of evidence-based instructional interventions.

“Keep awake therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.” —Matthew 25:13
As Al Gore’s documentary title suggests, it’s an inconvenient truth how many signs point to a dramatically changing climate. It would be much easier to stay asleep to the scientific studies because the predictions are frightening. But Jesus continually called his followers to stay awake to the signs of the times and to keep working to usher in the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. This week, keep alert for how God is inviting you to be a partner in renewing the world.
