What's Happening This Week:

Registration is still open for our PK 4 year old program. We are at the school to assist you Monday through Friday between 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. or you can call 410-677-5171 with questions or support.

Joe Corbi's Fundraiser

The sale will begin September 18 and end September 29.

Be on the lookout for the Joe Corbi's Sales Packet

Brochures will go home September 14-15. Delivery to the school will be October 30. Pick up will be October 30 beginning at 4:30 and ending at 6:00. If parents are unable to pick up, we ask that they call the school and make other arrangements for pick up. Any items not picked up by November 1 will be donated as we do not have adequate refrigerated storage space.

Learn a little bit about Fruitland Primary School educators.

Ms. Makayla Joseph, Kindergarten Teacher

Ms. Joseph received a bachelor's in early childhood education from Salisbury University. She did her student teaching in 1st grade at Willards Elementary School and Kindergarten and Second Grade at Fruitland Primary School.

Fun Facts:

She enjoys hanging out with family and reading. Her favorite book is 'The Sneeches' by Dr. Suess.

Fruitland Primary School is where she went to school. She was in Mrs. Dashiell's kindergarten class. She attributes her wish to become an early childhood educator to her kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Dashiell.

Ms. Joseph enjoys snacking on pretzels and hummus.

Ms. Kirsten Graham, Physical Education Teacher

Ms. Graham received her bachelor's degree in physical education from Salisbury University. After student teaching at Ocean City Elementary School, Ms. Graham taught one year at Wicomico Middle School. We are ecstatic to have her as a part of the Fruitland Primary School team.

Fun Facts:

Ms. Graham coaches for the Ocean Pines swim team.

Her favorite book is "Where the Crawdads Sing.'

She loves to snack on peanut butter.

Ms. Vanessa Fleshman, Special Education Teacher

Ms. Fleshman received her Bachelor of Arts in special education and elementary education from Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio. She is soon to begin her studies working towards a master's degree with a focus in occupational therapy.

Fun Facts:

Ms. Fleshman is a Wicomico High School graduate.

She was born in a town near Cleveland, OH.

She enjoys photography and plans on starting her own business taking family portraits.

Ms. Fleshman enjoys snacking on salt n' vinegar chips.

Her favorite books is 'Maybe Someday' by Colleen Hoover.

3. Arrival and Dismissal Reminders:

Doors open at 8:45 am.
Tardy bell rings at 9:15 am.
Dismissal changes by written and signed notes or email kphillips@wcboe.org are to be received by 12:00 pm.
Early release at the front door after 3:15 is by approved written note received by 12:00 pm.
Dismissal is at 3:45 pm.
All students will receive free breakfast and lunch. Please see menus below.
