Pleasant Run Families - Good morning Panther Family. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend. My thoughts have been with our entire school community the past several weeks. This is a challenging time for everyone, but please know that we are here for you and focused on reconnecting with students as we prepare to start Learn at Home Activities. Per Governor Holcomb’s executive order, all Warren Township schools will be closed for the reminder of the school year. Even though we will not be meeting in person, we are excited to reconnect virtually with your students via Learn at Home activities starting this week. At the beginning of each, Learn at Home Lessons and Choice Boards can be found at bit.ly/msdwarrenlearnathome.


If you have questions about Learn at Home, device distribution, or technology, please contact our eLearning/Learn at Home hotline at (317-608-0545) or email MSDWarrenELEARNING@warren.k12.in.us.


Any student that was not able to pick up their device last week may swing by Pleasant Run Wednesday evening between 5 - 7 PM. Please remember this is not required, only optional.


I also want to remind you about our updated food outreach plan. Continuing next week, we will be distributing 6 meals on Tuesdays and 8 meals on Fridays at now 11 locations throughout the township from 11:00 -1:00. Wednesday evening outreach sites are Post Road Church and lakeside elementary from 5:30 - 7:00pm.


If you find yourself in need beyond what is being offered, please call our District Community Outreach hotline at 317-869-4308 or email at MSDWarrenOutreach@warren.k12.in.us and someone will get back in touch with you as soon as possible.


Many families have reached out asking to return to the building to retrieve items from student lockers; we will make sure to find time to do this later this semester once it is safer to be in large groups and the spread of the virus has slowed. Also, as Dr. Hanson mentioned last week in his Wednesday phone call, please make every effort to stay home and avoid parks, playgrounds, and gathering in large groups.
