Since 2007, American School Bus Council (ASBC) has celebrated the school bus’ influence on learning through stories that span the nation. Each February, we invite students, schools, and educators to highlight the important role of the yellow school bus in their communities and show appreciation for the school bus drivers who safely transport more than 25 million children to and from school every day. By sharing your stories, you can help promote the benefits of the school bus on a national level.

Reminders:

• Families may come to eat lunch with your students. Please reach out to your child's teacher to let them know you are coming so they can plan for seating. Remember: NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK MAY BE BROUGHT IN. Upon arrival, please sign in at the front office and get a visitor's tag.

Lion Cub Leaders can help our community in many ways. Please bring your items and turn them into your homeroom teacher!

Each week during morning announcements, Mr. Bryan will announce the “Lion Cub Lingo” Words of the week. These words have been pulled from an academic vocabulary list that are most commonly used on formative and summative assessments. Students that use those words with adults in the building in the correct context can be rewarded with a House Point.

During the new year, are you looking for ways to give back to our community? Volunteering your time at our school would be a great way to be involved. We are currently looking for volunteers to help with our duty-free lunch. To volunteer, please complete the background check linked here and sign up by clicking the button below.

Thinking Win-Win embraces an attitude that continually seeks mutual benefit in our interactions with others. The points leader of the whole school for the 22-23 school year is Itzel S., in 2nd Grade with 201 points!

In first place is Excelsior with 6,611 points. The points leader for last week was Kaden D., in 5th grade. The points leader for this school year is Itzel S., in 2nd grade.
