Using the SISD App & Parent Portal

Parents, it's time to update your annual beginning of the school year forms. These updates are very important! This year, SISD has moved these forms online. To fill them out, please click the link below and login to. Parent Portal.

By having the most accurate and up-to-date information in our systems, we can ensure that you correctly receive information from SISD via platforms such as:

Parent Portal (grades and attendance)

SISD App - Raider News (news, announcements, etc.)

Peachjar - Digital Community Flyers (new this year - information is below).

Please be sure to review your e-mail and complete these forms so that SISD may provide you with up-to-date and timely information.

SISD is now using @Peachjar! Parents will now receive digital flyers containing school and community resources. This transition will also save our schools time and money while ensuring important information makes it home to parents. Your Raider will still have a daily and/or Friday folder for his or her classwork (PK-5 students), but the community flyers that once went home in them will now be sent home electronically. Parents, the SISD App provides a way for you to access information from the district like news, social media feeds and all the things you use regularly for your student (cafeteria information, grades, and E-News).

You can also login to the app to see information about your Raider(s) - (schedules, cafeteria and library fines and contact information). Please see below for directions on how to access and use the app for first time and current users:

1. Please download the app by searching "Sunnyvale ISD TX" on Google Play or the App Store.

2. The app is called "Raider News".

3. Once downloaded, you may set your preference for various feeds in the app - social media, calendar, etc., based on the campuses in which you would like to receive information.

4. In the next day or two, you will receive an automated e-mail from

noreply@sunnyvaleisd.parentlink.net regarding your password information. This is how you will be able to see your child's specific information. Please note that photos of our students will be added soon. Only you, as parents, and your child's teacher, may see your child's information in the Blackboard system. Please keep your password and login information private. If you do not see the login e-mail, be sure to look in your spam folder.

5. If you have trouble accessing your login or password information, please e-mail emily.white@sunnyvaleisd.com.

Ascender Parent Portal is Sunnyvale ISD's gradebook/attendance application. Parents and students may access grades attendance and class schedule information through this portal.

Grades are updated at midnight each night.

Please note: the best way to complete these forms is on your desktop or laptop computer - not your phone. We apologize for this inconvenience.

To login to your Raider's account, you will need the username and password information. This should be the same information you would have used the previous year. If new to the district, you would have received this information from your student's campus upon enrolling. If you do not have a parent portal and need assistance, please contact your campus registrar to obtain a unique parent portal ID.

4. After the first few weeks of school, if you are experiencing login issues or if the Parent Portal app or link are experiencing outages, please contact letishi.gunnels@sunnyvaleisd.com.
