It looks like it's going to be a beautiful day! Our monthly Jack the Dipper Day is today! Hope to see you there! They send a check to our school each month with some of the proceeds to go towards materials our school needs from our day of the month. Thanks for all of your support, Jack the Dipper!

We will be celebrating Read Across America beginning March 4th, by having dress up days, a reading blitz (more info below), and our annual PTO sponsored event- Adopt a Pet. It's going to be an exciting week!

BES will be having a school-wide Reading Blitz the week of March 4th. Students will read and finish as many books as possible in one week! Students will track their progress and we will be giving a prize to the top reader in each class. Teachers will share with the students all of the criteria and expectations on Friday, March 1st. It's going to be an awesome week of reading!! 📚📖😄

This week, students will be learning all about the word, hesitate. To hesitate means to pause before saying or doing something, especially through uncertainty. We are going to learn this week what it hesitate means, synonyms and antonyms, and ways to use it in a sentence. Thanks for encouraging your child to learn about our vocabulary word of the week!!

We will be having our Spring Lockdown Drill and annual Tornado Drill on Thursday, March 7th. Please talk with your child and remind them that these are just drills and we are trying to keep them safe. They all did such an amazing job in the fall with our first lockdown drill-- so proud of them!!

We will be having Spring Pictures on March 28th. Students will be taking their group/class photo, along with individual photos. Say cheese!! 📸
