A year like no other

This year will be...different. That's not necessarily Minnesota-speak for bad, but certainly 2020-2021 will be unique, unprecedented, changing, and challenging. We have already been SO impressed with the glowing staff response, constantly supporting one another in line with our Values in Action.


We will work to share positive examples from our community, like our Leaders of the Pack (click to nominate PA staff) and the stellar 3rd grade Morning Meeting slide below (complete with a countdown timer, daily checklist, morning message, ways to connect, and sharers).


We hope that you continue to reach out with any feedback, highlights, questions, or concerns. The PA community is strong, and we will support each other through our ups and downs.

Mrs. JaVon Williams

Jumping into her new Equity Specialist role with gusto, Mrs. JaVon is helping coach staff, support students, and make connections for a positive school. You can find her at the building 4 days each week, supporting recess and excitedly greeting students.

Mrs. Lindsey Mortinson

Mrs. Mortinson brings creativity, organization, and a personal touch to her online Kindergarten class. She has arranged one-on-one check-ins and assessments, created personal work packets, and always has a positive attitude!

Mr. Cristian Baca

Joining the Middle School team as an Advisory teacher and Associate Educator, Mr. Cristian has been keeping it fun with Bitmoji tutorials and great connections with his students, many of whom he has worked with for the past 5 years!

Growing readers every day!

Whether at home or school, reading every day is one of the most important things students can do! Starting September 16, we will have our lending library open at Wednesday Work Pick-up from 10:00am - 6:00pm. Families can select high-interest books and activities to take home each week, led by our CLSD team, Becky W, Randi Kay, and Brianna!
