The annual Weatherford High School College and Career Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, October 23 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm in gyms B and C of Weatherford High School. There are over 60 post-secondary institutions that will be in attendance to speak with WHS Juniors and Seniors. Parents are welcome to attend either session with their student. Also, new this year: Gabrielle McCormick, the founder of The Scholarship Informer will be here to present on ways to make college affordable. Gabrielle completed her entire college education for free (all the way through her doctorate degree) and now she is helping others get on the path to a debt-free education.

The tentative schedule is as follows:

It is now time to sign up for the Floral Design of the month Club! Each month starting in October you will receive a fresh arrangement from the High School Floral Design class.

Attached you will find an order form. If you would like to pick and choose which months you want to receive or if you want them all there is an option to do that. Payment can be tubed to me through campus mail. Thank you for supporting our program! (images are examples only)

Make sure to come support the Fightin’ Roo Marching Band at their second contest of the season at Burleson HS. We compete at 2:45 in prelims, and could use a big hometown crowd. Special thanks to all the volunteers that truly keep this program running smoothly. Please know all your hard work is appreciated.

The Weatherford High School Blue Belles would like to invite all students in grades K-8 to participate in our annual dance clinic. The clinic is taught by our fabulous Blue Belles! The varsity boys and girls golf teams kicked off their season we an elite performance at the Squaw Valley Invitational. Both teams shot their best scores in two years. Zach Norsworthy finished 7th out of 65 golfers while Randi Rovnyak finished 5th out of 34 golfers.

Congratulations to our Blue Belles of the week! Spirit Belle is Lesli Garcia , Belle of the week is Anna Yoder, and Emma Anderson is Miss High Kick.

The Public Safety Club invites you to purchase one of their official club t-shirts this year! Shirts promote school pride and public safety unity. Funds are used to help students pay for competition and travel costs. We have an amazing group of students this year and I am very excited!

The deadline for orders on 10/25 and shirts are $20. The order form is attached to this email. Checks can be sent to me on the main campus, rm. K210.
