Primary Bears,

Tomorrow is the big day! Thank you so much to each and everyone who has donated to our fundraiser! We met with the company for our gym floor and are planning for an install over Christmas Break if all goes as planned!

The times your child will run are listed below. Stop by the front patio of the school to pick up your badge (hopefully you have submitted your names ahead of time). You will then walk to the pit area for your child's event. You may sign out with your child's teacher after the event.

It looks like I will be kissing a pig next week! The students are super excited and remind me every chance they get! We will be sure to send out photos!

This morning we held a dance party at 7:25am! Students were in the hallways showing off their best dance moves as we celebrated our school-wide behavior program! Great job Primary Bears!

A big thank you to the La Vernia Fire Department for spending Tuesday with us! Our students learned a bunch and enjoyed the tour of the truck and especially enjoyed petting Jake!

Over the next few weeks our classes are visiting the pumpkin patch! We are all smiles and having the best time making memories!

Each year, 2nd grade puts on a very special evening performance for our Veterans. Performances are at 6:30 with students reporting to gym at 6:15

A few highlights:

-A student cannot miss more than 15 days a school year (excused or unexcused).

-You must send a note within 3 days of absence.

COMPULSORY ATTENDANCE: TEC Section 25.085

. A complaint against the parent may be filed in court if the student:

● Is absent on 3 or more days or parts of days within a 4-week period or

● Is absent from school 10 or more days or parts of days within a 6-month period in the same school year.

○ At the 10th unexcused absence, the student may be referred to Wilson County Truancy Court.

Morning carline runs 6:45-7:25. Use the shortest line (gym or front of school).

Students that are in car seats and need help unbuckling, parents please park on the gym side and walk them up.

sure to download the new LINQ Connect App in the Google Play or Apple Store available now and
visit LINQConnect.com if you use a browser. No need to change your username or password. All your information will be transferred to the new site for your convenience.
