Dust Devil Weekly
Sunday, September 3
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
This week the calendar turns to September which means Fall is quickly approaching. We managed to “weather” the heat last week (see what I did there?), and we were all grateful for the temperature relief.
In a week that had many highlights, it is hard to choose the best one, but for me the week’s highlight had to be our first Leadership Assembly, which was held on Wednesday morning. The entire student body and instructional staff collected in the gymnasium to connect as a school community, and to share a few laughs. Students were introduced to the JMMS Dream Teams, and watched our teachers compete in a silly balloon game. We believe these Leadership assemblies will be a game changer for the culture of Joan MacQueen.
I hope you are enjoying the 3 day weekend, and the unofficial close of the summer season. Rest up. We have a big week ahead! Enjoy this edition of the Dust Devil Weekly!
